Application Consent
Read this before submitting a bond application. It explains what you authorize SuretyPH to do with your information.
Inquiries and applications submitted through SuretyPH are endorsed to the relevant duly licensed insurance company. Approval is subject to verification of submitted information, eligibility requirements, and the underwriting guidelines of that insurance company.
1. What you are consenting to
By creating an account and submitting an application, you consent to SuretyPH collecting, recording, organizing, storing, using, and disclosing your personal and company information for the purpose of preparing, submitting, monitoring, and administering your surety bond application.
2. Disclosure to authorized insurance companies
You authorize SuretyPH to refer your application and supporting documents to a participating licensed insurance company assigned to your file, currently Travellers Insurance & Surety Corporation (TRISCO), a Participating Insurer. That company processes your information as a separate personal information controller under its own privacy notice.
3. Accuracy of submitted information
You confirm that the information and documents you submit are true, accurate, and complete, and that you are authorized to submit them on behalf of the principal named in the application. Misrepresentation may result in denial of the application or cancellation of an issued bond by the insurer.
4. No approval is created by submission
Submitting an application does not create a bond, an insurance contract, a commitment to issue, or an approved premium. Approval, premium, collateral requirements, pricing, and issuance remain with the participating licensed insurance company.
5. Electronic records and communications
You agree that records created through the platform, including uploaded documents, quotations, acceptance actions, and audit log entries, may be kept in electronic form, and that we may contact you by email or mobile number regarding your application.
6. Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw consent or object to processing by writing to our Data Protection Officer. Withdrawing consent while an application is in progress will stop further processing of that application, and may prevent evaluation or issuance. Records we are legally required to retain will be kept for the applicable retention period.
7. Your rights
Under Republic Act No. 10173 you have the right to be informed, to object, to access, to rectify, to erasure or blocking, to damages, and to data portability. Requests are handled as described in our Privacy Notice.
SuretyPH is a digital information and lead-generation platform owned and operated by McMatthise Global Group Corporation. It does not independently underwrite, approve, bind, issue, or guarantee any insurance policy or surety bond. Evaluation, underwriting, premiums, approval, and issuance remain the responsibility of the relevant duly licensed insurance company.
